Committee Connections

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching interacts with a large number of committees in order to remain aware of the needs of the campus community, gather advice from our constituencies, and provide our perspective to campus discussions relating to teaching. Some of the committees we interact with are Academic Senate committees whose purview includes aspects of teaching: Undergraduate Council, Graduate Council, and the Committee on Teaching. Some are non-Senate committees, namely the Classroom Advisory Committee and the Steering Committee for Online Teaching and Learning. In addition, we are advised by a Faculty Advisory Committee and by several committees that address specific programs within the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, as shown below.
